History

In 1865, to allow the water of the River Durance to flow on to the land owned by the Marquis de Boisseul, a long earthen aqueduct was built. An agricultural domain was created. This has grown over generations keeping the name "aqueduc" from this original method of irrigation.

The Cauvin family has farmed this land of Mas de l'Aqueduc since 1965. At this time, the domaine practised a traditional polyculture of prairies, vines, cereal and sheep breeding. Over time, they have come to specialise in the cultivation of AOC hay of the Crau region.

In the 90s, rural gites were created in the old stables. Then in 2000, the olive orchards were planted and stones from the Crau were put on sale.
